An owl was spotted on Chapel Street Saturday afternoon. Not sure if it was a spotted owl, however, as it was too far away to tell. It did a nice job of blending with the oak leaves, which are well past their autumn wear. We hope that the owl will come back every time the Wave gallery is having a sale, since that would be a wise idea. Also, there was free customer parking in certain areas downtown over the weekend, another thing you might have missed.
