Scroll and Key this week, expect to see all-new grouting around the sandstone around the building. The maroon-colored fill-in is expected to help the building to last much longer. Said the stone worker, "They don't let us inside the building. Even when we need to use the bathroom."
Restoration of the building, which was originally constructed in 1869, has continued since the summertime. Workers have been attempting their best to maintain the antiquated structure through a variety of tactics, including this month's re-grouting.

Re-grouting of the Scroll and Key building |
Probably unbeknownst to most people is the inclusion of Scroll and Key member and later senior CIA official
Cord Meyer, whose wife
Mary Pinochet Meyer was said to have been involved romantically with President Kennedy at the time during his presidency. Mary Pinochet Meyer was also said to have introduced the president to
lysergic acid diethylamide, having also been friends with Timothy Leary who was developing it at the time. Her memoirs claimed that her belief was that the chemical would help powerful world leaders conclude that the Cold War was meaningless. She mysteriously passed away under peculiar circumstances.
