Scott Amore, longtime New Haven community member, brings you these great tracks that he found of his grandfather and his uncle, playing music in 1949 in Hamden, CT.
The records are in pretty rough shape, but that's okay, right? We're still lucky that these sounds were salvaged. Recently Scott transferred them to digital format and put them on Soundcloud for everyone to listen to. My favorite is track 5 (recordio (side b2).).
