José Oyola is introducing Astronaut Academy. A knowledge-sharing lesson program in order to teach their way to a tour. Goals are:

Incredible Performance in Westville this Afternoon

 Jose Oyola and the Astronauts are a premiere group who perform at various functions in New Haven all the time. Note the accompaniment from Tim Kane on trumpet! This video took place today, and is in advance of an upcoming interview from the NHVMusic Local Scene blog.

There were teeshirts and cassette tapes for sale near the stage. The performance attracted a crowd of probably over 100 people, many of whom were given the opportunity to dance with their children in the afternoon sunlight. When the glow from the setting sun faded from its reflection on the crowd from West Rock in the distance, Jose put down his instrument.

Dia De Los Muertos at Bregamos

If you follow this network, perhaps you'd have caught the flyer for the Day of the Dead Parade, located on the Instagram.com/nhvorg account.  The awesome design is very similar to what you see in the actual parade; a train full of specially decorated creatures from the afterlife.  And if you catch the video, perhaps it's enough to get a viewer not only to appreciate the event, from the appearance of the activities involved in preparation; maybe it's enough to get a viewer to wish to attend the following year.

To the people who were there, the effort was worth it. The parade went forth onto Blatchley Ave. with tremendous success.  The event was sponsored by the Bregamos Theatre, at Erector Square.
