Preview the Irv Pinsky Show

Reminder to click "720p" under "Settings" (the gear icon located roughly just about right ^ there)

This is Irving.  He's a local character who occasionally gets onto talk radio to share his points about pets, politics, and peoples' pensions.  I only say the last part because it goes with the alliteration, and that's precisely the kind of political stream of consciousness to expect from Irving J.

Some of his better points in his upcoming show:

  • Republican businessmen as presidents destroy economic growth
  • Guys shouldn't go hunting drunk, or invite their 10 year old daughters to hunt either
  • His dog likes snacks
  • Obama would be better to continue as president than to elect Mitt Romney.
These are just his opinions, and he's entitled to them.  Some may not agree, but all will find his persona entertaining.  You can put up your rants here on the internet as well.

What Happened at the Occupy Eviction?

Ah yes. Video journalism. This particular 5-minute video was recorded between 12pm-2pm. I immediately took it home and started editing. This full version, complete with subtitles and background music, was online by 5pm and featured on the New Haven Independent, a prime source of news, and it received 700 views in a couple days. It got one comment, from none other than Paul Bass, the editor of the NH Independent.

Please comment either here or on the Facebook page. Thanks!

Saint Paddys Parade New Haven 2012 Preview

Plan between businesses and government seems to be curbing the public drinking.  Better for businesses to be in control of the distribution of beer and other drinks to parade goers than leaving it up to lawlessness.  That seems to be the message in this next video.

Antistatic reporting from Channel 8 news about the fuzz:
