Traversing to explore on days like these can be an adventure in winter preparedness. Don't be afraid to go into the cold, but bundle up: exposed skin is where things can become difficult to the point of danger. This morning, an early walk through East Rock Park revealed the presence of a duck symposium in the Mill River, as well as for some chilly falls.
Instagram is cool, but nothing beats seeing things and experiencing them in real life. Then again, the outdoors are freezing, so might as well just enjoy this outdoor wilderness scouting report.
