Film Screening On Thursday: The Hill

If you haven't seen it, Lisa Molomot's documentary "The Hill" addresses the issue of school construction in New Haven.  "The latest project calls for the demolition of 123 homes," the film says.  And residents express disdain for being relocated from their neighborhood.  Community activists and lawyers are concerned.  One resident says that the mayor suggested to sue the state, or the city.  A school principal argues that the neighborhood was in disrepair in the first place.


A screening of the full film will take place on Thursday, 4-6pm, at the Wilson Branch Library.
