New Play Opens: "The Specials"

"THE SPECIALS," a new American play

If you like theatre, which many people do, then why not give a chance to witness the performance of an new American play, written and premiering right here in New Haven?

The nature of the play is as follows: After their car breaks down on a cross country trip, a bickering academic couple are rescued by an elite mercenary and his young, ex-stripper wife. As they edge uneasily into a night of uncertainty, boundaries are tested, new identities emerge and the War on Terror gets personal.

Just by the description alone, I'm sure you might comprehend the intensity of the project in itself.
