First Love Yourself: F.L.Y. Girls Rock @NHFPL

F.L.Y. Girls, an informal social group, was created by volunteer Natasha Perkins to engage and empower New Haven girls aged 8 to 14. The group quickly found a home at the Stetson branch of the New Haven Free Public Library, where branch manager Diane Brown brought library resources and community connections to support the group.

That’s what NHFPL does: it offers books, materials, classes, programs, welcoming buildings, online resources and community networks. With a mission of furthering lifelong learning, economic engagement and cultural connections, the library serves all of #nhv.

You can donate to the library so that it can continue to support efforts like the F.L.Y. Girls.
