A nonprofit in New Haven was nominated for the Jaffe Award, a national award, earlier this summer. They won the grand prize this month, competing with other nonprofits around the nation.

All Our Kin provides professional training and resources to child care providers throughout the inner city New Haven area, including everything you see in the above video. What they've done to professionalize child care in New Haven was deserving enough to receive national attention, and is why their organization received the $100,000 award, which will be invested back into the New Haven community.
