Fabulous Music Under the Stars

Neighborhood Music School’s Twilight Tuesdays Concert Series in July and August
offers fabulous music under the stars

Neighborhood Music School (NMS) presents Twilight Tuesdays, an alfresco dinner/concert series of four fabulous evenings of music in the Park of the Arts, located behind NMS. We have a great lineup, appealing to a variety of tastes:
July 22, 2014 - Sultans of String – This Toronto-based instrumental group explodes with a global sonic tapestry of Spanish flamenco, Arabic folk, Cuban rhythms and French gypsy-jazz. 2011 Instrumental Music Awards finalist.

July 29, 2014 - Vance Gilbert
 – Soulful folk music with a playful twist. "With the voice of an angel, the wit of a devil, and the guitar playing of a god..."  Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

August 5, 2014 - NMS Jazz All-Stars - A night of amazing live jazz featuring favorites Christian Sands, Mike Asetta, Bill Fluker, Jesse Hameen II and Kris Jensen.

August 12, 2014 - Roosevelt Dime - Inspired in equal parts by Appalachian string bands, Memphis and New Orleans soul, West Coast alt-country and the musical melting pot of their hometown of Brooklyn, this band has forged a sound they’ve come to call “Steamboat Soul.”

You’re also invited to indulge in delicious summer fare, by purchasing your dinner from Abel Caterers on location at each concert. Kosher options will be provided. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.; concert at 7 p.m. - rain or shine. There is limited table seating, so please reserve in advance. Ticket prices are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
