You know you want to hook up your neighborhood with the Community Gardens! Come and join Solar Youth on May 5th in Westville Manor, and help make it happen."Come get your hands dirty and help the community members in Westville Manor get their community garden up to speed for the spring season! You will also get a chance to work side by side with our Stewards and see first hand what Solar Youth is all about!
We will be moving and spreading bags of soil in pre-existing beds and doing any other garden tasks that the gardeners request!
We will be working in the garden from 4:00pm to 6:00 (Solar Youth Stewards might leave a little earlier for debriefing activities)
Parking and Directions: You may park in the parking lot in front of the Solar Youth Office on 53 Wayfarer Street. The garden is a little hidden behind the last unit of houses so please feel free to knock on the office door or call the office for directions to the garden. If you park near the Solar Youth office walk up the sidewalk past the playground (with playground on your left) and continue straight between two houses and the garden will be to your right! We hope to see you there!"
