Workers work feverishly to produce swimming pool
Noticing a construction project today, I asked workers what they were doing. One remarked as he was busy, "We're building a swimming pool. Now beat it. Scram." They continued about their business.
It also dawned on me that the swimming pool would also make for a useful ice skating rink, as it will probably be used for that purpose by the building's tenants in the next few months.
Retraction: a number of readers have mentioned the evident pipe work underneath and a few have pointed out some zoning issues surrounding the swimming pool. One pointed out that city ordinances prevent any swimming hole from being 5 feet close to a manhole cover.
