Surreal World

This year, in 2012, on August 25th, Neil Armstrong left Earth.  But it wasn't the first time he left the planet.  Here he is, in semi-transparent form, standing at the flag which is at half-mast in his honor.

These images will be seen at the Crosby Gallery at the Arts Council on Audubon Street on Thursday, December 13th from 5-7pm as part of a show with other artists (see flyer below).

Get Prints
Do you think this is a cool picture?  You might be the only one in the world to have it in a frame on your wall as a 11x17 image.  Or you can get the other picture, entitled "Highway Underpass"

Desktop Backgrounds are available to download as high-resolution images by visiting the Photo Archive.  And that's pretty fun.  But in order to justify the effort of printing and framing these high-definition images, there is a small fee.

You Too Can Sell Your Photos on Nhv.Org As Prints
If you have great pictures of New Haven (even ones that don't involve Spacemen), here's what you can do.  It's really easy.  Get a Google Checkout account.  Then, create your own "Buy It Now" button.

Next, copy the <Form> code for the button and send it in an Email to NhvOrg@Gmail.Com with a low-resolution watermarked version of your image.  Or use your posting privileges to put the button and the images up here yourself.  Finally, your photo will be posted with the button to buy it right below.  It's a pretty easy process, but you need to be responsible for creating the prints once you get some orders from people.  You are also responsible for the handling of your own finances.

It's recommended that you keep your prices fair for people.  $40 is a decent price for a framed print.

All items are to be hand-delivered or picked up at an agreed-upon location.  Enjoy and keep snapping photos.  You never know when you'll take that perfect picture.
