Syrian Refugee Status Update

Paul Bass talks to Roland Lemar about the Syrian refugee family who were dropped by Indiana and welcomed into New Haven via IRIS. Lemar explains how he received emails from constituents who were wary about accepting the Syrian family into East Rock. After 15 minutes, the conversation migrates to a budget deficit talk.

In recent national news, Governor Dan Malloy (see video above) moved to accept and welcome Syrians, after other states rejected and denying refugees because of the Paris Attacks of 11/13/15.
