The Yale Bowl was built in Westville in 1914. We celebrate 100 years of its existence here in 2014 and it might be worth it to check out the football game this Saturday.

Princeton Tigers are playing Yale Bulldogs at 12:30pm and the audible presence of a large crowd will be heard throughout Westville all afternoon. Princeton is 5-3 overall, 4-1 in the Ivy League. Yale, on the other hand, is 7-1, also 4-1 in the Ivy League conference, having a great year.
Yale boasts over 25 NFL players in its lifetime, including Shane Bannon who currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, while Princeton currently has 33 alumni in the NFL. It's not about who makes it into the league, however; both schools represent the finest in academic accomplishment among the wide variety of disciplines expected from Ivy League schools.

Saturday's game is about the Bowl, however. The stadium itself has been home to many an amazing concert. In 1980, the Eagles played there, however a 1990 Paul McCartney concert was turned down by neighbors.

You can expect to see the stadium at or near capacity, however tickets will be available at the gate. Adults are $10, Seniors are $8 and children under 12 are free, particularly the unattended ones from the neighborhood.
