As an experiment in film, I'm spending 9 afternoons with Jahmal, from Newhallville who collects high fives around the neighborhood like Mario collects coins. He has great ideas, and seasoned talent. We know one another through a mutual friend, DJ Remarkable, who worked at Cutlers in the 1990's. I bought all of my records as a kid from Mark, who recently crossed paths with me and we began discussing the possibility of doing a show with Jahmal. These will appear on his site, as well as future episodes on both here on the main site, as well as the Music Blog.
