Storm Aftermath Overview

Just as expected from a cat-1 storm, some trees fell down, there was some low-elevation flooding and a bunch of people lost power.




Most noticable were the oaks that fell all over the place. This one was in Wooster park.




This oak fell over by Edwards Street, across State. It may have been the culprit for East Rock to lose power.

"Scotty" said that the city cut part of the roof structure of the same tree earlier in the year in an effort to keep the sidewalk around it from continuing to bulge. This may be true.




I cant explain this one.
